Love the product, hate the packaging. Please don't tell me to call you, I would think there have been enough reviews here complaining about how hard it to open that maybe somebody would take notice and do something about it.

Great Product, Horrible Packaging

Your caplets work well enough, but I need tools to get to them! The packaging is so rigid and "sturdy" that I need scissors to break into it. And that's not always possible (I used to carry manicure scissors in my purse, but TSA took them away from me before they'd let me on an airplane.) So how about a little consideration for seniors with arthritis?

Works for diarrhea. About the packaging. It is not perfect but for those having problems just bend back a square area to select a caplet. Then bend back and forth a few times on the dotted line as mentioned on the backside. I first used scissors and used to cut all around the caplet. Once I used this technique found I could easily remove the caplet without scissors. I still would like to know why you use this strange packaging though.

Softgels work. But cannot get packaging (blister packs) open! Must use scissors and have problem removing them. Tried to call several times with four different phone numbers. But each time heard same recording and waited in excess of 20-30 minutes each. Have two questions please have rep contact me.

Cannot open packages

Review Questions:
State: California
Review Text:
The pill may be effective, but we will never know because we cannot open the package. Even with scissors, the package cannot be easily opened. This is almost fraudulent marketing because it is impossible to use the pills! One would think you would want us to use many, but there is no way. This is more than child resistant, it is gorilla resistance. Please have anyone on the J&J Board try to open just one pill!

I too find the blister pack for Imodium caplets extremely difficult to open. I use sharply-pointed tweezers. Instructions on the box recommend cutting with scissors at the notch. It works better to excavate with a sharp implement or to cut alongside the caplet and pry it out sideways. Somebody at J&J knows about this problem, or the instructions would not be printed on the box.
