To Participate Via Internet: Visit www.Imodium.com between 9:00 AM Eastern Time ("ET") on 8/29/02 and 11:59 AM ET on 9/6/02 (hereafter referred to as the "promotion period") and receive one entry into the sweepstakes by fully completing & submitting the online entry form. There is a limit of one entry per person/household/email address for the duration of the promotion period. Multiple entries from any one person, household or email address will void all but the initial entry. McNeil Consumer Healthcare (hereafter "Sponsor") is not responsible for lost entries or transmissions, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections, miscommunications, failed computer hardware or software or telephone transmissions or technical failures, garbled, misrouted, scrambled transmissions or other errors or problems of any kind whether mechanical, human or electronic or otherwise; for inaccurate entry or sweepstakes related information, printing errors appearing in the rules, or other sweepstakes related materials. By participating, entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and to the decisions of the judges, which shall be final and binding in all matters relating to this sweepstakes.
Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, 18 years or older as of 8/29/02, except employees and their immediate families (mother, father, sister, brother, any child, husband, wife) and those living in the same household of each, of Sponsor, MarketSource LLC, or either of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, retailers, suppliers, advertising or promotion agencies or Project Support Team, Inc. Void where prohibited by law. This promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state and local regulations and laws.
Prizes: (1) Grand Prize: $3,500.00 voucher redeemable for domestic air travel as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Blackout dates and travel accommodation restrictions may apply. Restrictions on voucher may apply. (3) First Prizes: Panasonic SV-AV10 SD recorder and player (Approximate Retail Value "ARV": $359.99). (5) Second Prizes: Gift basket consisting of an assortment of Imodium products (ARV: $20). Federal, state and local taxes and all other expenses are the sole responsibility of the individual winner. Total ARV of all prizes is $4,679.97.
Drawing: Winners will be selected in a random drawing conducted on or about 9/24/02 by Project Support Team, Inc., an independent judging organization, from among all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Winners will be notified by telephone, U.S. mail and/or overnight express on or about 9/27/02.
Miscellaneous: No substitutions or transfers of prize, except by Sponsor due to prize unavailability and then for a prize of equal or greater value. Grand Prize winner will be required to sign & return an affidavit of eligibility, liability & publicity release (where legal) within 10 days of the date these documents are mailed to winner or an alternate winner will be selected. If prize notification or prize is returned or is non-deliverable for any reason, prize will be forfeited & an alternate winner will be selected. If identity of winner is disputed based on an email address submitted, prize will be awarded to the person identified by Sponsor in its sole discretion as the authorized account holder of the email address at issue at the time entry is submitted. By participating, entrants agree that Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, distributors, retailers, advertising and promotion agencies: 1) may use (unless prohibited by law) entrant's name (if entrant is a winner), voice, city and state of residence, photograph and/or likeness for advertising and/or trade and/or any other purpose in any media now or hereafter known without further compensation, permission or notification; and 2) that the aforestated parties, MarketSource LLC,, Project Support Team, Inc. and all of their respective employees, officers, directors, representatives and agents shall have no liability and will be held harmless by entrant for any liability, loss, injury or damage of any kind to entrant or any other person or entity, including personal injury or death to winner or any other person or damage to personal or real property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize (including any travel related thereto) or participation in this sweepstakes. Sponsor makes no warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the nature of the prize awarded. If this sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who it believes has tampered with the entry process, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes and in the event of cancellation or termination, conduct, at its discretion, a random drawing from among all eligible entries received prior to the event requiring such cancellation or termination. The use of any device to automate the entry process is prohibited.
