Eligibility: Sweepstakes open to legal residents of the 50 United States (and the District of Columbia), 18 years of age or older as of 6/7/02, except employees, officers and directors (and their immediate families and those living in their same households) of McNeil Consumer Healthcare ("Sponsor") & MarketSource Corporation, their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, retailers, distributors, suppliers, advertising and promotion agencies. Void where prohibited.
To Enter: If you are a registered member of Imodium.com as of 6/7/02, visit Imodium.com between 12:00:00 PM Eastern Time ("ET") on 6/7/02 and 11:59:59 PM ET on 9/3/02 ("promotion period"), sign in using your email address & password, complete the online entry form including the simple 10-part questionnaire & click the Submit button for (1) entry in the sweepstakes. 2) If you are not a registered member, visit Imodium.com during the promotion period, click on the "Become a Member" link, register as a member, complete the online entry form including the simple 10-part questionnaire & click the Submit button for (1) entry in the sweepstakes. Completion of questionnaire is not required for entry in the sweepstakes. Registration is free and membership can be cancelled at any time. Limit one entry per person and per e-mail address for the duration of the promotion period. In the event multiple entries are received from any one person or e-mail address, only the first entry will be accepted and all others will be void. Entry must be made by authorized account holder of email address at issue as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, incomplete, late or misdirected entries, inaccurate entry or other sweepstakes related information or failures or malfunctions of Internet connections, phones, phonelines, telephone systems, technical or mechanical malfunctions, or other malfunctions or errors, whether caused by equipment, programming used in this sweepstakes, human error or otherwise. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to void any and all entries of an entrant whom Sponsor believes has attempted to tamper with or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of this sweepstakes. By participating, entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and to the decisions of the judges, which shall be final and binding on all matters relating to this sweepstakes.
Drawing: Winners will be selected on or about 9/16/02 by an independent judging organization, in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. Winners will be notified by e-mail, telephone, U.S. mail and/or overnight express. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Prizes: (1) Grand Prize: Alpine 6.5" Widescreen LCD Monitor, Alpine DVD/CD/VCP Player & $200 in the form of a check which may be used toward installation (Approximate Retail Value "ARV": $2,500). (15) First Prizes: Sony Portable CD Player, Travel Scrabble, 52 Fun Things to do in a Car, Magnetic Travel: 7 Games in 1, Kids Travel Book - A Backseat Survival Kit & a Kids Road Atlas: Rand McNally for Kids Backseat Book Series (ARV: $150). Federal, state & local taxes & any other expenses are the sole responsibility of the individual winner. Total ARV of all prizes is $4,750.
Miscellaneous: No transfer, cash redemption, or substitution of prize (or component thereof) except by Sponsor and then for a prize (or applicable prize component) of equal or greater value. Grand Prize winner will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, and where legal, a publicity release within 10 days of issuance of notification. Non-compliance with the foregoing may result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected. If prize notification or a prize is returned as non-deliverable, prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected. Winners agree, except where prohibited, that Sponsor & its designees may use winners' names, pictures, portraits, likenesses, and voice for advertising, promotional and other purposes without compensation. By entering, entrants agree that Sponsor, its parent, affiliates, partners, retailers, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies and suppliers and MarketSource Corporation and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents shall have no liability for, and shall be held harmless for and against any damage, loss or injury that may arise in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize, or participation in this sweepstakes. Sponsor makes no warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the use of any portion of prize awarded. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion to void suspect entries and/or modify, cancel, terminate or suspend this sweepstakes should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the sweepstakes and, at it's discretion, select winner(s) from non-suspect, eligible entries received prior to event requiring such modification, cancellation, termination or suspension. The use of automated entry devices is prohibited.
